Leigh Bennett has served as a Testing Specialist and Testing Supervisor for Loudoun County (VA) Public Schools for the last 9 years. Loudoun is one of the largest school divisions in the state with 87 schools and over 77,000 students. She is responsible for division-level administration of state and federal assessments including gifted assessment, English Language Proficiency assessment, cumulative state assessments (SOL tests) and alternate/alternative tests. Her office works collaboratively with the Research Office to produce various reports summarizing and analyzing benchmark assessments, student growth assessments and performance-based assessments. She is always looking for ways to implement technology into office practices and student assessment experiences, as well as improving service delivery for schools.
