Welcome to the NAAD Graduate Student Corner!
Thank you for visiting our page, where we hope to provide information and updates relevant to our current graduate students, as well as to those who may be interested in joining National Association of Assessment Directors.
During the 2012-2013 school year, NAAD had five members of its Graduate Student Committee: Marisa del Campo (University of Connecticut), Sarah D. Newton (University of Connecticut), Pius Ochwo (Kent State University), Ipek Ozer (Kent State University), and Angelica Rankin (University of Iowa). Sarah D. Newton was selected to be NAAD’s first Graduate Student Representative to the Board for the 2012-2013 school year, and has continued in this capacity during the 2013-2014 academic year.
Together, NAAD’s Graduate Students serve to represent graduate student interests within the organization. In 2012-13, they focused on two important initiatives: developing the roles and responsibilities of both the Graduate Student Member and the Graduate Student Board Representative, and creating a graduate student presence in NAAD. For the 2013-2014 school year, they worked to expand these initiatives.
If you are a graduate student and have an interest in educational testing and/or assessment and would like to learn more about becoming involved in NAAD, please contact Sarah Newton at email@example.com
